Physical Education + Artificial Intelligence

Physical Education + Artificial Intelligence

Structured integration of exercise science, fitness assessment, data analysis and generative AI, with technical and ethical limits stated openly.

Artificial intelligence entered the fitness industry the wrong way: as a promise of automatic training, generated in seconds, with no assessment and no accountable professional. That is not innovation. It is outsourcing a responsibility that law and professional ethics assign to a registered human being.

My position is different. I use AI as an instrument of precision, the same way I use a skinfold caliper, a periodisation spreadsheet or a camera for movement analysis. It processes a volume of information no professional can match alone. It does not decide.

The practical outcome is simple: more time devoted to what requires human presence, such as watching the client, correcting execution and understanding their life context, and less time consumed by administrative work.

Physical Education + Artificial Intelligence

Where AI comes in

Planning and periodisation

Training cycle modelling, progression simulation and cross-checking between volume, intensity and recovery time. AI flags inconsistencies; the professional decides the final design.

Assessment data analysis

Historical series of body composition, girth measurements and physical tests reveal trends across months. What is lost reading a single spreadsheet emerges when data is treated as a whole.

Organisation and productivity

Structuring records, protocols and administrative routines. Every hour recovered here is an hour returned to coaching.

Study and scientific updating

Support in screening and systematising scientific literature. Every technical claim is checked against the primary source before becoming a prescription or content.

Education and content

Structuring articles, teaching material and explanations adapted to different audiences, from a beginner client to a school's pedagogical coordination.

Communication

Faster answers to operational questions and better follow-up between sessions, always with human review of any technical guidance.

The limits, stated and not hidden

No programme reaches a client without human review. Every prescription is designed, checked and signed by a CREF-registered professional who is technically accountable for it.

AI does not assess pain. It does not read a client's hesitation in front of a loaded bar. It does not perceive fear, accumulated fatigue, or the day when something is visibly wrong. It does not replace in-person postural analysis, nor the human contact that sustains long-term adherence.

Client data is treated confidentially and is not entered into AI tools in identifiable form. Health information is sensitive data and receives the treatment Brazilian data protection law requires.

Applied technology

Tools that make up the operation, always subordinate to professional judgement.

Generative AI

Support for analysis, programme structuring and production of technical and teaching material.

Data analysis

Processing historical assessment series for an objective reading of progress.

Automation

Scheduling, recording and follow-up flows that cut repetitive manual work.

Wearables

Integrating heart rate, sleep and daily activity data into the training context.

Movement analysis

Video and computer vision as support for biomechanical correction, especially in online coaching.

Digital platforms

Delivery of programmes, materials and follow-up in a dedicated, organised environment.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Book an assessment
Is my programme generated by artificial intelligence?

No. Your programme is designed by a CREF-registered professional. AI may take part in analysis and organisation steps, but every technical decision and every deliverable goes through human review.

Does this make coaching less personal?

The effect is the opposite. Time technology saves on administrative tasks is redirected to coaching. Less spreadsheet, more client.

Is my health data used to train an AI?

No. Client data is confidential and does not feed third-party models in identifiable form. Health information is sensitive data under Brazilian law and is treated accordingly.
